Poverty

Data compiled by the New Policy Institute. The site monitors what is happening to poverty and social exclusion in the UK and is organised around 50 statistical indicators covering all aspects of the subject, from income and work to health and education. Includes a comprehensive set of links to other relevant documents and sites on the Internet.

Neighbourhood Statistics

Provides detailed information and statistics for the UK, including links for European statistics. Under ‘Neighbourhood Statistics’ the site includes the facility to search by individual postcode for detailed regional and local statistics, which include people and society, health and care, deprivation, housing and households and the economy.

Communities and Local Government

The website For Communities and Local Government (CLG) includes information and links regarding CLGs responsibilities. These include local and regional government, housing, planning, fire, regeneration, social exclusion, neighbourhood renewal (including information on the 88 most deprived boroughs in the UK) and creating sustainable communities.
