Urban Forum

The Urban Forum is an umbrella body for community and voluntary groups dealing with urban and regional policy, and in particular focusing on regeneration. The Forum seeks to foster a strong voluntary sector catering for these areas, and works to develop equal opportunities for more marginalised communities. The website includes an extensive and very useful links section, in addition to information on publications by the Urban Forum.

Learning and Skills Council

Development Trusts Association

The aim of the Development Trusts Association (DTA) is to support the establishment of a successful development trust in every community which requires one. ‘Community Matters’ is the National Federation of Community Organisations, working to promote and support action by ordinary people, concerning social, educational and recreational needs in their communities.

Community Foundation Network

Community Foundation Network homepage providing full links to local Community Foundation websites. The Community Foundations are charitable trusts that promote and support local voluntary and community activity through administering grants to local groups and organisations.

Communities Development Foundation

The Communities Development foundation (CDF) seeks to promote greater community cohesion, through helping them to achieve greater control over decisions affecting their lives. BITC

Business in the Community in the UK is a unique movement of over 700 member companies whose charitable purpose is "to create a public benefit by working with companies to improve the positive impact of business in society". BITC is an independent, business led charity strongly encouraging corporate responsibility. HRH The Prince of Wales has been president of BITC since 1985.
