Work includes research and development projects to promote social inclusion and citizenship, and raising public awareness through spreading knowledge and information. Equality and Human Rights Commission
They aim to promote equality and human rights, and to create a fairer Britain. They have taken over the responsibility for helping secure civil rights for disabled people from The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) which closed in 2007.
Disabled Living Foundation
The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) helps older and disabled people to find equipment solutions, which enable them to enjoy the opportunities created by greater mobility and to lead independent lives.
