Finding Funding Workshop- 25th June 2013, London

Due to the demand for our popular one day workshop, Finding Funding, we have added a further presentation to the schedule.  We are now taking bookings for Tuesday 25th June, the venue will once again be Kings Cross, London. The workshop is led by an experienced Fundraising Consultant and offers an introduction to the whole business of fundraising – planning, building a budget, identifying funders and making the application.  Numbers taking part are limited to allow participants the opportunity to discuss their own situations.  Recent participants said of the workshop,

St Paul’s Cathedral Fundraising

Charity Fundraising Ltd is delighted to be working with St Paul’s Cathedral to raise funds for their heritage fundraising priorities and educational activities. St Paul’s Cathedral needs no introduction but needless to say we are really excited about providing fundraising consultancy support towards this remarkable  institution. 

A few Places available for our Finding Funding Workshop - 14th May 2013

We have a few places remaining on our small group Finding Funding workshop in Kings Cross, London on Tuesday 14th May 2013. The course is an introduction to fundraising with an emphasis on grant funding and application processes. The course is OCN accredited; learners are invited to complete a workbook which serves as part of their record of the workshop, formal assessment for OCN certification is entirely optional. 

The cost is £185 which includes VAT, course materials and lunch. Please contact Peter See on 01394 610581 for further information and to book a place. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
 

Almost £75,000 achieved for Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP)

PIP is a west London-based charity providing a comprehensive range of education, training and recreational opportunities to young adults with learning disabilities. The team at Charity Fundraising Ltd has worked closely with PIP, developing bids to secure grant and contract funding for its valuable arts, education and training programmes. We look forward to building upon this success over the coming year.

PIP's Theatre Company, made up entirely of adults with learning disabilities, is delivering its latest production, ‘The Mystery of the Red Hat’. It is being performed at the Tabernacle Theatre, 35 Powis Square, London, W11 2AY on Friday 22nd March at 7pm. There are still some tickets available – this is not one to miss! £282,916 BLF Reaching Communities grant success for The Red Hen Project

Fundraising consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to hear news of a Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities success of £282,916, having supported The Red Hen Project in project and application development.

This funding will enable the project  in the Kings Hedges area of Cambridge to expand and respond to more families who are in crisis, aiming to support positive parenting and overcome barriers to learning. The children benefitting from the project will be aged 5 -11 with behavioural or special requirements in school, often because of an unstable family lifestyle due to trauma, loss, parental neglect or lack of coping mechanisms. Peer support will be encouraged for parents through a weekly cookery club.

£249,423 BLF Reaching Communities grant success for Westminster Carers Service

Fundraising consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to hear news of yet another major success having worked with Westminster Carers Service to support the development of a successful bid to Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities.

This grant will enable  Westminster Carers Service to continue to provide a carers self-help network across Westminster; building mutual support, companionship and skills to strengthen carers' health and wellbeing to sustain their caring role in the community. The Westminster Carers Time Bank provides a means of building social relationships and connections between people, working together to tackle their problems.
 

Over £17 million achieved through the drafting of funding applications for our clients

The team at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted that we can now evidence funding successes totalling over £17 million. These successes are as a result of the drafting of funding bids & tenders by our fundraising consultants to a range of funders including;  grant making charitable  trusts, foundations, Big Lottery fund Reaching Communities and statutory sources. £216,217 grant success for Kings Hedges Primary School

Fundraising consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd are delighted to hear news of a Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities success of £216,217, having supported Kings Hedges Primary School in project and application development.

This grant will enable the continuation and expansion of a project which offers children and families in Kings Hedges, Cambridge better life chances by delivering intensive early intervention to children aged 2-4 years old in areas such as speech, language, motor skills and social development. Activities will be supported by outings to venues such as the Post Office, library, park or shops to encourage talk and discussion.
