'Finding Funding' Training Day

Charity Fundraising are pleased to announce the success of our first training day for charity staff

Our first 'Finding Funding' training day on 5th July was acclaimed a great success and enjoyed by all who took part. Bookings are now being taken for the next training day, set for Wednesday 27th September.

The event, held at our new offices in Woodbridge, provided a packed day of information for all delegates. The structured programme included: Writing a business plan, Risk Management, Using Directories Of Funders, Identifying Potential Funders, Writing A Good Application, Delegates Projects & Nurturing Funders.

The small group allowed us to focus closely on each of the delegate’s projects and offer advice specific to each. Feedback from the day was very positive, participants commented:

• “It is clear that the trainers know a lot about the subject and your enthusiasm is infectious.”
• “Very useful & timely.”
• “Extremely informative support to our individual needs.”

All participants will be taking back to their charity a wealth of learning on increasing donations, funding, and winning that all important grant.

Our next event has been set for Wednesday 27th September 2006. If you are interested in attending please call us on 01394 610581 for further information and a booking form. The cost is £85 inclusive of VAT and includes lunch and refreshments throughout the day. The day will follow a similar format to our first event but coaching a small group allows us to respond to each delegate’s needs and interests.
