Major grant for Sussex Autistic Society
£75,000 Grant
Our consultants are delighted to have worked with Sussex Autistic Society to achieve a one year grant of £75,000 from the Baily Thomas Charitable Fund. The Society is working to expand its Outreach and Respite service for children, young people and adults with autism across Sussex and this grant will make a major contribution in 2008 and 2009 towards: the salary costs of new key care staff: assistance to families in need, in the form of bursaries to meet fees: and service core costs. Block funding achieved for cbm Ireland
€2,550,000 Funding
We are delighted to have achieved multi-year block funding of over €2.5 Million for international development programmes of cbm Ireland and their partners. The funding, from the Civil Society Fund of Irish Aid, will support six programmes in; Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. Activities will support wide-ranging medical, social and economic needs of people with disabilities.
Another BBC Children in Need success
£37,940 Grant Funding
Our consultants are delighted to have worked with Youth2Youth to achieve a grant of £37,940 from Children in Need. This funding will provide significant 3-year support for the Youth2Youth confidential helpline service, run by young people, for young people who are in distress.

£47,286 Grant Funding
Charity Fundraising Ltd was delighted to have worked with St Pauls Newpin London in the City of Westminster to achieve a grant of £47,286 from Children in Need. The 3-year grant will give much needed financial support to the Newpin project, providing structured play sessions, outings and trips for children and young people with mothers who are experiencing mental health difficulties.

This funding from The City Bridge Trust will support the CoreKids service, providing support to families affected by alcohol and substance misuse in London.

Our new look Finding Funding training workshop will be launched in Ipswich on 21st May 2008
Having run our popular one-day training course; Finding Funding, for two years we felt it was ready for an overhaul. We had always maintained the currency of information, but it was time to look again at the approach we took. A revised format, more interactive and based on case studies, will be launched on 21st May 2008 at the Co-operative Education Centre, Ipswich.
