The Langley House Trust
Charity Fundraising Ltd is delighted to welcome The Langley House Trust as a new client
As a Christian charity the mission of Langley House Trust is to work with those who are at risk of offending, or have offended, establishing positive foundations so that they can lead crime-free lives and become contributors to society. The Trust works towards the fulfillment of its vision of a crime-free society where no-one is unfairly disadvantaged or excluded because of their past.
The Langley House Trust employs in excess of 250 staff at sites ranged across England. The charity now serves approximately 400 residents and service users across the country at any one time, working out of properties in 21 local authority areas.
Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd will provide advice and support on Governance issues and work with the charity to raise substantial funding in support of various aspects of the work of the charity across England.
Graham Parker, Director of Charity Fundraising Ltd will co-ordinate Charity Fundraising Ltd consultants and lead our work. Graham has worked professionally with offenders, ex offenders and those at risk of offending for over forty years including twenty five years in the Governor Grade of the Prison Service. Graham’s work has always been underpinned by his Christian faith. With considerable input from ex offenders with whom he has worked with in the past Graham is currently writing a book on the subject of work with offenders and ex offenders, with a particular focus on what works with young offenders.

The Marian Mission
Charity Fundraising Ltd is delighted to welcome The Marian Mission as a new client.
Based in Leyton, London Borough of Waltham Forest, the specialism of the Marian Mission Educational and Family Support Centre is on education, childcare, behaviour, learning and family support. They are driven by the desire to provide appropriate and enriching services aimed at giving disadvantaged individuals opportunities to develop life skills, social independence and interpersonal skills. These will help them to acquire relevant skills and resources that will enable them to blend in society, achieve their full potentials and subsequently gain meaningful employment.
Consultants at Charity Fundraising Ltd will advise on Governance issues and will then research potential funders and draft funding applications. The focus of these applications is likely to include:
- Capital cost of extension to premises including disabled access, fire precautions and fitting out.
- A minibus; including provision for wheelchair access.
- Revenue costs, including in the context of work with; autism, dyslexia, positive behaviour management, NEETS, and for family support worker.
Dorset Child and Family Counselling Trust
Charity Fundraising Ltd is delighted to welcome Dorset Child and Family Counselling Trust (DCFCT) as a new client.
Children and adolescents may experience a range of difficulties in growing up. Sometimes these are related to family relationship issues and sometimes to school or peer pressures.
Concerns may include:
- depression
- challenging behaviour
- bullying and peer group difficulties
- eating, sleeping and toileting problems
- mild anxiety and obsessional behaviour
- school refusal or non-attendeance
- bereavement
- extreme anger
- family relationship issues
DCFCT provides counselling / pyschotherapy for children, adolescents and families where there are emotional, behavioural and other mental health problems.

Finding Funding training courses now OCN accredited
Charity Fundraising Ltd is pleased to announce that our 'Finding Funding' Training course is now accredited by OCN Eastern Region and is worth one credit at level 3 towards a national occupational standard (NOS) in fundraising. Grant Funding for Windsor Fellowship
Major contract income achieved from Haringey Council
Charity Fundrasing Ltd worked with Windsor Fellowship to achieve a grant of £125,000 under the Haringey Enterprise Commisioning Plan. The funding will support The Windsor Fellowships work with disadvantaged young people at risk of exclusion in the borough.
Funding success for HADA
Further funding secured for work with children and young people involved in binge drinking
Charity Fundraising Ltd have helped Harrogate Alcohol and Drugs Agency (HADA) to secure a further major grant for their work to address the problem of binge drinking by children and young people in North Yorkshire. The Pilgrim Trust has agreed to a £30,000 grant to be spread over two years. Combined with other grants, our consultants have now helped to raise £87,350 (+ £2,000 “in kind support” and materials) for this vital new project. Additionally we have helped to achieve funding for other HADA funding priorities.

Funding Success for Sussex Autistic Society
Major grant from the Three Guineas Trust
Charity Fundraising Ltd is very pleased to announce further grant funding success for Sussex Autistic Society. Our consultants have helped to secure a grant of £166,000 over three years from the Three Guineas Trust. This major grant will enable the Society to sustain and significantly expand its Outreach and Short Break service to children, young people and adults with autism, and their families and carers in Sussex.
This latest grant means that Charity Fundraising Ltd has now helped to raise £315,750, over the last 15 months, for the Sussex Autistic Society’s invaluable work with people with Autism in Sussex
