Charity Fundraising Ltd is delighted to welcome Autism Sussex as a new client. For many years Autism Sussex has provided a wide range of services for adults with autism, and operates an extensive training programme for its own staff and professionals from other agencies and organisations. A recent exciting development has been the opening in 2009 of the Café des Arts in Hastings, a social enterprise offering volunteer work and training opportunities to service users and a public exhibition facility for art works created by people with autism. More recently the charity has expanded its service provision to include children and young people with autism.
Autism Sussex plans to expand and extend its services over the next few years including: more supported living accommodation, two further Café des Arts, additional resource centres, and family support and training facilities, for children, young people and adults with autism in both East and West Sussex. Charity Fundraising Ltd has initially been commissioned for a twelve month period to help raise funds for a number of these developments.
