BEAT's vision is to tackle issues of deprivation, lack of self-esteem and social exclusion by recognising individual and racial diversity within prisons and the community at large, and providing pro-active assistance towards economic independence through self-employment or social enterprise. BEAT Works with prisoners and young offenders during their sentence and for up to two years post release, helping them to plan, establish and develop a business.
